JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and management of the company’s financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential risks or opportunities, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Develop financial projections and scenarios to guide decision-making and help achieve organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand their financial needs and align departmental budgets with the company’s overall goals.
- Oversee the annual budgeting process, ensuring that all departments have clear, achievable, and aligned financial goals.
- Monitor and track budget performance throughout the fiscal year, ensuring that spending is aligned with planned objectives.
- Ensure efficient allocation of resources, balancing operational needs with financial sustainability.
- Provide timely financial reports to senior leadership, highlighting key variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure the company’s financial reports comply with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the preparation of tax filings, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Liaise with external auditors during audit preparation and reviews.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as CFA or CPA is a plus).
- At least 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong background in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience in financial reporting, financial analysis, and risk management.
- Previous experience in a similar industry or working with senior leadership is highly preferred.
