Finance Associate

This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance Associate located in Accra. The Finance Associate will be responsible for:
Financial planning, budgeting, controlling, and forecasting various projects' budget.
Preparation of budgets, Management reports and financial statements for Management
* Ensure tax and statutory returns compliance in respect of filing and payments and tax savings for the company.
* Perform revenue and costs analysis for various projects in the company.
* Prepare Financial reports including Profit and loss accounts and Balance
Sheet. Performance
* Analysis, Cash Flows, and Customer profitability reports.
* Advise on cost management strategies and revenue boosting strategies for the company.
* Maintain leger integrity and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal control procedures.
* Develop and implement financial systems and internal controls.
* Ensure total compliance with all regulations by liaising with stakeholders on resolution of matters arising and maintenance to prevent regulatory
* Ensure month end close activities are performed in accordance with timelines, guidelines, and financial controls,
* Processing of Invoices and payments to bank
Responsible for fixed assets schedule and depreciation computation
* Conversant with Matching and accrual concepts
Manages Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables
Monthly Reconciliation of Trial Balance line items
Knowledge and Understanding of IFRS
*Overall responsibility for data entry into accounting system and integrity of accounting system data
Qualifications
* Financial Statements management and Financial Reporting skills
* Strong Analytical Skills
* Excellent communication skills for conveying financial information to senior management.
* Experience with financial forecasting is a plus.
* Academic Qualification bachelor's degree in finance. Accounting or related area, ACCA, ICA, CIMA
* Experience. Additional Knowledge Firm understanding of taxation, expert user of QuickBook
