About the role:

We’re looking for ambitious and aggressive sales professionals to join our team of Field Sales Agents. We offer you the chance to play a crucial role in acquiring new sellers onto the Jiji platform and selling Jiji Premium Services to potential clients. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Search and acquire for potential customers:
    • Proactively searching for and identifying potential customers, including sellers and business owners.
  2. Communication with potential clients:
    • Contacting and negotiating with prospective customers to establish interest in Jiji’s services.
    • Providing advice and answering customer questions about Jiji features and services.
    • Presenting Jiji business growth opportunities to potential customers
  3. Customer registration in the Jiji app:
    • Helping potential customers through the Jiji app sign-up process and providing instructions.
  4. Assistance with publishing ads:
    • Assist customers in creating listings on the Jiji app.
  5. Sale of Jiji paid services:
    • Explain the benefits and advantages of using Jiji paid services.
    • Monthly contact with sellers to renew or upgrade boost packages
  6. CRM management and updating:
    • Daily updating and maintenance of the CRM with customer information. ● Ensuring that the information in the CRM is up-to-date and accurate. Achieving monthly sales target for Jiji paid services
  7. Reporting and communication:
    • Weekly meeting with the Team Lead to discuss progress and challenges.
    • Joint visits to the market with the Team Lead to close deals and help with sales.
    • Staying in touch with the Team Lead and other departments of the company during business hours, if necessary.
    • Daily progress reports to Team Lead.
  8. Performance Metrics (KPIs) / Success Measured By:
    1. Achieving monthly sales targets with monthly growth set by the company
    2. Constantly attracting new customers to the platform, at least 6 per month with conversion rate to sale at least 2
    3. Ensure customer return rates of at least 65%
    4. Daily sales reports are filled out and presented to the Team Lead
  9. Requirements:
    • 6 months and above experience in field sales or sales
    • Must be internet and computer savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Google Docs and Sheets is a plus
    • Excellent selling skills with the ability and desire to sell
    • Must be exceptionally positive, confident, and determined. Resilient with the ability to cope with rejection
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills
    • Can work independently and as part of a team
    • Have an Android smartphone
    • Live in Accra and its environs
