JOB DESCRIPTION


Key Responsibilities of an Executive Assistant:

  • Scheduling meetings, appointments and events and managing Kate’s time effectively
  • Managing support function for the recruitment business, providing support where necessary and naturally leading the team
  • Social media management
  • UK and international personal and professional travel, accommodation and expenses
  • Plan and execute company meetings, events, and training sessions
  • Inbox Management
  • Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to ensure favourable terms and optimal relationships, act as liaison with vendors, service providers
  • Relationship Management with customers, suppliers and contacts
  • Manage projects and deliver to all deadlines.
  • Problem solves, be able to spot issues and create a plan to rectify them.
  • Communicate ideas and business initiatives to the team to ensure the sharing of best practice and maximisation of sales and business growth.
  • Ideally will also assist with the operational management of the McCarthy Recruitment Office providing assistance to the sales support team and leadership

Skills, Qualifications and Key Attributes

  • Track record in supporting Executive or business owner
  • Ability to stay calm, prioritise and focused under pressure
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Build trusted relationships
  • Time management and the ability to multi-task are essential, along with a proven ability to plan, prioritise and adapt in the face of new challenges and interruptions every day
  • Problem-solving skills and initiative
  • Experience of management of multiple diaries, scheduling travel and accommodation including complex travel arrangements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and drive innovative solutions.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a desire to play an active role in improving processes and communications.
