Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or its equivalent
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or its equivalent
Professional qualification in Accounting, Financial Analysis

Experience
Minimum experience – 3 years relevant banking experience
Key Responsibilities
Conducts environmental and social risk screening and assessment of credits
Conducts due diligence and drafts action plans for the management of E&S issues
Ensures on-going compliance with the applicable E&S requirement and action plans on daily basis
Collaborates with credit support team to prescribe management system for high E&S risk credits/obligors
Responds to all regulatory requests relating to ESRM in the bank
Liaison office for all DFI enquiries on E&S related issues
Drives the Subsidiary’s partnerships in all ESG related issues – In line with the GBP, BOG, EPA, SEC, GSBPs stipulations
Reports and engages with CBN on all NSBP related activities
Conducts regular training on ESRM across the subsidiary
Formulates, implements, evaluates , monitors and reports the sustainability strategy of the subsidiary In conjunction with relevant stakeholders (internal & external)
Drafts and publishes the subsidiary’s annual ESG Reports
Conducts green tagging assessment/audit and maintain a database of stranded/potentially stranded assets across the subsidiary.
