JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Oversee and manage inventory levels in the engineering store, ensuring accurate tracking and control of equipment and supplies.
Procurement:
- Lead the purchasing process for engineering materials, negotiating with suppliers and ensuring timely delivery of quality products.
Software Utilization:
- Use Tally, SAP, and other accounting software to maintain accurate records and manage financial transactions related to procurement.
Coordination:
- Collaborate with plant managers and engineering teams to understand equipment requirements and usage, ensuring alignment with operational needs.
Quality Assurance:
- Monitor the quality and performance of equipment, ensuring that purchased items meet the necessary standards and are used effectively in plant operations.
Compliance:
- Ensure all processes adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- HND or Degree in Purchasing and Supply, Material Science Engineering, or a related field.2-5 years of experience as a Purchasing / Stores Officer.Good knowledge of Tally, SAP, and other Accounting Software.Proven experience in managing an engineering store.Familiarity with the equipment used in plants and its application in industrial environments.Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
