Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with expertise in panel making to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the assembly of electrical control panels for our machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development:
- Create detailed electrical schematics and control panel layouts.
- Design control panels that meet industry standards and customer specifications.
- Panel Assembly:
- Oversee the assembly of electrical control panels, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electrical systems into machinery.
- Testing and Troubleshooting:
- Conduct testing of electrical panels to ensure functionality and safety.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during assembly and after deployment.
- Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain documentation for electrical designs, panel assembly procedures, and testing results.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers, mechanical engineers, and other team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding project progress and technical specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in electrical panel design and assembly.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with PLCs, motor control systems, and other automation technologies.
- Familiarity with industrial machinery and manufacturing processes.
