Director of Nursing

We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department and ensure the highest standards of clinical care across our facilities.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all nursing services within the organization.

•Oversee nursing staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluation to maintain a highly skilled and motivated workforce.

•Develop and monitor departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource management.

•Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, including Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) guidelines.

•Evaluate and implement best practices and innovative healthcare solutions to improve nursing care delivery.

•Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

•Collaborate with other departmental budgets, ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.

•Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care outcomes.

•Foster a positive and professional work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and continuous learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Registered Nurse (RN) with an active, unencumbered license.

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.

•Minimum of 7 years of nursing experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or management role.

•Must have working experience in a private healthcare facility.

•Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality standards, and nursing best practices.

• Proven experience in staff development, team building, and resource management.

•Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

•Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and senior leadership

• Proficiency in healthcare software systems and data-driven decision-making.
