JOB DESCRIPTIONS
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance on a variety of modern mining equipment including CAT UG trucks, loaders (R2900G & R2900XE) & IT's, Sandvik Drills, Normet Agi's and charge vehicles + ancillary equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on equipment
- Conduct inspections and maintain accurate records and documentation
- Ensure work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the wider maintenance team to optimise equipment performance and availability
REQUIREMENTS
- Cert III Australian trade qualifications as a Diesel Fitter or equivalent
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve equipment issues
- Product knowledge of CAT heavy mobile mining equipment within underground hard rock mining equipment will be considered an asset.
- Highly desired certifications include Working at Heights, Dogging, EWP, and Forklift competencies.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with a commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management
