JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, implement, and maintain IaC for infrastructure provisioning and automation, utilizing tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Kubernetes Management: Administer, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters to orchestrate containerized applications, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Build, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to automate application deployment processes and ensure smooth releases.
- System Administration: Perform regular system administration tasks on Linux-based systems, including patching, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Cloud Platforms: Work with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure to manage cloud resources, improve system scalability, and ensure efficient cloud infrastructure utilization.
- Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with software development, security, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of systems and applications.
- Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues in complex systems, troubleshooting infrastructure or deployment issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and impact.
- Security & Monitoring: Ensure that systems are secure and monitor performance and availability using industry-standard monitoring tools.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Solid understanding and experience in system administration, particularly with Linux environments.
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, with hands-on experience in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment automation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure and their respective services for cloud infrastructure management.
- Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve complex system and infrastructure issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across development, operations, and security teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Knowledge of security best practices for DevOps environments, including vulnerability scanning and automated security testing.
