Position Summary

The Development and Partner Relations manager will be responsible for helping this functional area achieve its fundraising goals. This will involve working with all stakeholders including private and public sector officials and foundations. The role will also involve working closely with other functional areas to ensure that reports are put together and delivered to partners in a timely manner.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain the integrity of our funding databases and systems.
  • Manage and enhance our donor database, ensuring accurate tracking and system updates.
  • Lead fundraising research, strategize its execution, and analyze results to ensure Lead For Ghana meets its annual fundraising goals.
  • Assist the Executive Director in grant management, including report preparation, proposal updates, and supplementary material development.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to guarantee partners receive comprehensive and timely reports.
  • Partner with the marketing team to keep fundraising marketing materials current and effective.
  • Liaise with various teams, ensuring they're informed of pertinent updates that may influence growth and development discussions.
  • Procure both financial and in-kind contributions from foundations, individuals, and corporate entities.
  • Collaborate with the functional head to foster and sustain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.

Education and Experience 

  • Graduate /Professional Degree in Marketing or Sales with at least 3 years of experience preferred. 
  • Undergraduate Degree with, at least, 5-years experience, desired. 
  • Experience delivering meaningful, and high impact pitch, grants, and reports.

NB: Please note that evening (and occasionally weekend) work will be required to deliver an effective outcome.
