Job Description


Key Responsibilities:

  • Appraise and process loans submitted to the Secretariat.
  • Ensure credit risks are adequately mitigated to protect and enhance the quality of the Risk Asset portfolio.
  • Contribute towards credit process improvement initiative with a view of identifying process lapses and suggest ways of correcting same.
  • Contribute towards the preparation of management and statutory reports.
  • Maintenance of comprehensive and up to date collateral register.
  • Contribute towards the maintenance and periodic review of credit files and documents.
  • Provide client services.
  • Any other responsibilities that will be assigned.



Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in credit appraisal and loan processing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills..
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word etc.).
  • Ability to work with Microsoft 365.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in valuation processes.
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
