Job Description

Job Purpose: 

Join our dynamic team as a Corporate Sales Representative, where you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and cultivating lasting relationships with professional end-users in the corporate sector. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets, ensuring customer satisfaction, and proficiently managing pricing, credit, and payments.  

Main Tasks:

  • Achieve the specified target number of bags and bulk cement sales directly to professional end-users on a monthly basis
  • Utilizes effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Develops and manages a target number of active clients who consistently purchase minimum volumes of cement each month.
  • Nurtures client relationships to ensure continued business growth.
  • Meets all designated professional end-users in your region at least once per month to strengthen relationships and understand their needs.
  • Maintains the average price per ton within the established budget while ensuring profitability.
  • Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction among clients by addressing their needs and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Provides management with regular reports on competitive activities, market trends, and potential opportunities for new products and services.
  • Offers insights and recommendations to stay ahead in the market.
  • Conducts regular account reconciliation with clients to ensure the accuracy of transactions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Manages credit limits for each client, evaluating creditworthiness and minimizing credit risk.
  • Collects cash payments from credit customers according to an agreed-upon schedule.
  • Builds and maintains a strong professional network within the corporate sector to enhance business opportunities and referrals.
  • Maintains accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance.
  • Generates regular reports detailing sales achievements, client feedback, and market insights.
  • Stays updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and sales techniques to enhance skills and sales effectiveness.
  • Seeks continuous improvement in sales approach and customer engagement.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • A minimum of Masters Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience as a Sales Rep, or similar role with an FMCG company.
