JOB DESCRIPTION


 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Contract Management: 

  • Draft, review, and amend various types of contracts including, but not limited to, vendor agreements, service contracts, confidentiality agreements, and commercial contracts.
  • Assist in contract negotiations with vendors, clients, and partners, ensuring favorable outcomes for the company.
  • Participate in the management of relationships with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure compliance with contract terms and performance expectations.
  • Identify and assess potential risks associated with contract terms and conditions. Develop strategies to manage and mitigate those risks effectively. 
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to align contract terms with business objectives and operational needs. 

Negotiation: 

  • Partner with the Procurement team on the negotiations with vendors, suppliers, and other parties to secure optimal terms and mitigate risks.

Compliance: 

  • Partner with the Legal department to ensure all contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Monitor and address any compliance issues that arise. 

Documentation & Record-Keeping: 

  • Maintain an organized system for managing and tracking contracts, including overseeing timelines, renewals, and amendments.
  • Ensure that all contract documentation is up-to-date, accurate, and easily accessible. 
  • Participate in the implementation and management of effective filing systems and databases to support efficient retrieval and tracking of contract information.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Laws or any other related field is mandatory.
  • Master's degree is a plus.
  • Multicultural experience is mandatory. 

 

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Experience in International Construction Contract (FIDIC).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Proficiency with industry-specific software (SAP, Sage, Oracle).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
