Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform design and engineering of customer’s plastics components to support the acquisition and commercialization of profitable projects.
  • Apply Finite Element Analysis using CAD and CAE software tools to solve highly challenging structural and manufacturing problems.
  • Communicate analysis results to customers by various methods, including written reports, presentations, and interactive discussions.
  • Engage with a diverse global CAE team to gain knowledge and foster collaboration across various areas of expertise.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 3-5 years of industry experience in Finite Element Analysis and mechanical component development.
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Good understanding of mechanical properties and materials.  
  • Experience with thermoplastic materials and composites preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Automotive and/or Electrical/Electronic industries and relevant applications.
  • Proficiency in the use of commercial Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) software for structural and manufacturability simulations.
