JOB DESCRIPTION


Job Responsibilities

  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Performs daily CR system checks and documents the results.
  • Performs CR inspection of material per the appropriate WI’s, product manuals, and work instructions.
  • Maintains a daily CR log of all parts processed.
  • Performs CR training to delegated Level I and trainee NDT Inspectors.
  • Ensure adherence to Safety Rules and Regulations
  • Ensure high levels of housekeeping are maintained within work area
  • Ensure work is carried out in accordance with QHSE policy

Required Skills / Knowledge

  • Knowledge of various shop hand tools
  • Skilled in use of various hand tool
  • Skilled in oral and written communication (English)
  • Able to manage multiple priorities & organize workload to meet deadlines
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English per FAA Regulations
  • Able to use specified hand tools to achieve desired results
  • Ability to think and concentrate for long periods of time
  • Enjoys working in a team environment & train others as required
  • Willing & able to be flexible with work schedule
  • Ability to learn tasks required to perform the job Experience


Experience

  • Previous experience with Fuji CR systems preferred
  • 400 / 800 / 1000 hours of experience in FPI / MPI / X-Ray inspection or
  • Previous NAS410 Level II experience properly documented from a previous employer
  • FPI/MPI a plus


Education Requirements

  • Completion of a 40 / 80 hour CR training course.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certified to National Standard as a Level II in Computed Radiography


Physical Requirements

  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Good dexterity
  • Punctual
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to sit/stand for up to 8 hours a day
  • Repetitive motion of hands and wrist
