Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in risk management, economics, finance, accounting or its equivalent in any field. 
  • 2-3 years of supervisory level experience in Operations, Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance or any other related function in a financial institution.

Skills/General Requirements

  • Good understanding of Compliance, Risk Management and Internal Control
  • Ability to make a sound independent judgment
  • Good communication, writing and reporting skills
  • Analytical and good attention to details
  • Willing and able to be innovative

What you will do

  • Responsible for ensuring full compliance with regulations, policies, directives, circulars and memos
  • Determine compliance review, scope and develop annual compliance plan
  • Conduct periodic checks and review compliance with the above-mentioned documents
  • Provide clarity and awareness of regulations, policies, processes, circulars and directives to employees
  • Prepare and present reports that reflect compliance review results to the line manager
  • Identify loopholes and make risk management recommendations 
  • Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management interventions and recommendations
  • Support in the efficient operation of the compliance function
  • Any other responsibilities assigned by the line manager
