Main responsibilities:

Compensation: On the Compensation part of the job, we need a crystal-clear salary architecture:

  • Develop, manage, and update equitable compensation (salary) architecture and deliver the policies and processes.
  • Participate in salary and labour market surveys, perform benchmarking, define and manage prevailing internal pay ranges 
  • Partner with Finance and Business Partner teams to drive budget planning and align salary reviews, rewards, and new positions to budget target 
  • Develop and maintain compensation & benefits frameworks in the countries IDH is in and is expanding to and advises on relevant severance packages

  • Design the right fitting benefits for the needs of the staff in country, together with the country management. 
  • Lead the design, roll out, and management of distinctive and inclusive benefits and leaves programs that reflect the culture, the diversity of employees’ needs, and truly add value to their experience 
  • Continuously seek grassroot feedback and partner with HRBPs to understand employees’ evolving needs 

Job Evaluation

  • Maintain a consistent and fair job evaluation framework IDH wide 
  • Evaluate, classify, and level roles within the organization 

Performance Management

  • Continuously monitor and improve the effectiveness of the Performance Management Policy. 
  • Ensure proper execution of the Performance Management cycle, including Mid Year Review, End of Year Review planning, salary increase process, performance ratings and promotions.   
  • Collaborate with the HRBPs to link reward and recognition to performance and development and improve the respective reward processes. 

HR Reporting 

  • Use data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of our total rewards programs and develop insights-based solutions to improve and optimize 
  • Prepare and run pay and salary reports, and create analysis on opportunities 

Communication 

  • Develop effective education and communication to increase leaders and managers’ total rewards acumen, and educate employees about their compensation, benefits, and recognition 
  • Partner and manage external HR providers, to ensure optimal employee experience 

 

Who you are.

  • You are an effective communicator with working multiple stakeholders, including but not limited to employees, managers and director’s level.
  • You are a key driver to ensure salaries and benefits attract and retain talent while staying within budget.  
  • You keep up with labour laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements while ensuring fair pay for various locations across 4 continents (EU, Asia, Latin America, Africa), aligning local practices with global C&B strategies.
  • You enjoy using creativity to design policies that tune in to the needs of the staff, both material and immaterial.


What you bring.

  • 5-7 years’ experience in compensation, benefits, rewards, leaves, and mobility management across multiple European countries 
  • In-depth knowledge of total rewards best practices, trends, regulations, and programs, including real living wages, collective labor agreements, and compensation insights platforms 
  • Strong collaboration skills across HR team and Finance disciplines 
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with ability to leverage data and insights to drive solutions 
  • Strong Excel skills 
  • Proficiency in job evaluation and job analysis systems 
  • Attention to details, with robust organization and prioritization skills 
  • People-centric approach, with drive to cultivate a vibrant and purpose-led employee experience 
  • Proven leadership in engaging senior stakeholders and managing complex projects 


We offer you

A challenging, pivotal role within an impacting, international organisation – and:

  • A salary range between EUR 4,952 – 6,190 (excluding 8% holiday allowance) per month (based on a 40-hour work week), job level 18. The job level is evaluated based on IDH methodology; the successful candidate will be placed within the range depending on relevant work experience. The selection process is conducted, applying STAR interview methodology.
  • A full-time (40 hours) 1 year contract initially, with the intention to extend (as this is a permanent position).

  • Lunch Allowance €88.58 gross, 100% FTE
