JOB DESCRIPTION


RESPONSIBILITIES

Training and development:

  • Design and implement professional skills training and development programs for the Trading Hub representatives. Conduct basic numeracy and literacy assessments for new candidates.
  • Develop content for targeted learning modules focused on skills-building such as marketing and sales, Good agricultural practices, farmer relationship management, system training, personal growth, and helping them overcome challenges at the hub.
  • Deliver comprehensive onboarding training programs for recruits.

Recruitment and Expansion:

  • Work with the expansion and Business Growth Officer team to identify and recruit women for new Trade hubs. Conduct the screening and interviews with shortlisted candidates.

Performance Evaluation:

  • Collect and analyze data collected during training and interactions with the Trade Hub Representatives. Prepare regular data-driven reports on the effectiveness of training initiatives; through comprehensive post-training evaluations and reinforcements.
  • Measure impact, and KPs and prepare visualizations on insights.
  • Program coordination: Coordinate logistics for learning programs. This involves scheduling sessions, preparing materials, tracking participation, and gathering feedback.

Continuous Learning:

  • Stay on top of industry best practices through training.
  • Research professional development trends focused on supporting women in rural communities.

The ideal candidate should have:
● A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, e.g. organizational development, teaching, business, social science, or related field.
● 1-2 years of experience in professional development training, and working with women.
● Strong computer literacy (MS Office, data analysis tools)
● Strong research and analytical skills for content development and data analysis
● Excellent facilitation and presentation skills (verbal and written communication).
● Candidates must be flexible to work a variety of hours as business demands, including weekends during peak season
● Have a license to operate a motorcycle in Ghana (or willingness to get one)
