Proactively identify and pursue new construction projects and business opportunities.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, developers, and key stakeholders to expand the company’s network and pipeline of projects.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform the strategy for new business acquisition.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company’s services and generate leads.
Collaborate with the advertising and marketing team to enhance the company’s visibility and brand presence.
Tendering & Bidding:
Lead the preparation of high-quality bids, proposals, and tenders for new projects.
Ensure compliance with client requirements, local regulations, and industry standards when submitting proposals.
Coordinate with internal teams (quantity surveyors, project managers, engineers) to gather relevant information and pricing data.
Negotiate contract terms, conditions, and pricing with clients to secure and ensure profitable projects.
Review and assess risks associated with each project and provide recommendations to senior management.
Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, including project managers, engineers, and legal advisors, to ensure smooth project execution.
Provide regular updates to senior management on new business opportunities and project progress.
Qualifications/Experience:
At least 8 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, including experience in a similar role.
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field (preferred). A master’s degree in engineering or management is an added advantage.
Proven experience in construction project management, with a focus on business development and securing new projects.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and legal aspects of construction management
Project Management Professional Certificate would be an added advantage
