JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud architecture.
- Monitor and optimize cloud performance and costs.
- Manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Perform regular security assessments and compliance checks.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions.
- Provision and manage cloud resources.
- Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues.
- Work with database services and storage solutions.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
- Participate in capacity planning and management.
- Stay updated on cloud service provider offerings and trends.
- Provide training and support to junior engineers.
- Engage in cloud migration projects from on-premise servers.
- Document cloud architecture and processes for future reference.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in cloud computing.
- Proficiency in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and methodologies.
- Knowledge of networking and security protocols.
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform).
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in agile development methodologies.
- Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, etc.) are a plus.
- Understanding of data storage solutions and database management.
- Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor).
- Ability to adapt to changing technologies and methodologies.
