Department: Construction Department

Location: Alajo Star Oil

Reports to: CEO

Working Days: Monday to Friday (Saturday- Optional)

Working Time: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Job Summary:
- Assist with project management and coordination
- Assist with project scheduling and resource allocation
- Provide technical support for site staff
- Conduct assessment and inspections and quality control
- Provide input on design and construction feasibility
- Support the procurement process

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and oversee construction projects

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Prepare and manage construction budgets, estimates, and cost reports
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and costs
- Collaborate with contractors and suppliers on cost-related matters

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Technical skills:
- Computer Literacy (Ms. Word, Excel, etc.)
- Engineering principles (structural analysis, materials science, etc.)
- Design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) Added advantage
- Quantification and measurement


2. Soft skills:
- Communication (written, verbal, presentation)
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Time management and organization
- Adaptability and flexibility


3. Competencies:
- Structural design and analysis
- Project planning and execution
- Site management and supervision
- Contract management and administration
- Quality control and assurance
- Budgeting and cost management

Education:
Polytechnic or University

Experience:
Service Personal or Done with National Service


Salary

Ghc1,000 to Ghc2,000
