Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to join our team in Accra, Ghana. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the company by managing accounting operations, financial reporting, audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and the ability to provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management:
o Prepare, examine, and analyze financial reports, statements, and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
o Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure financial health.
o Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and variance analysis.
o Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
2. Audit and Compliance:
o Coordinate and support external and internal audits, ensuring all financial documentation is accurate and up to date.
o Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and corporate governance requirements.
o Prepare and submit tax filings (corporate, VAT, payroll, etc.) in a timely manner.
3. Strategic Financial Planning:
o Provide insights on financial performance and recommendations to senior management for business growth.
o Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
o Identify areas for cost reduction and operational improvements.
4. Risk Management:
o Monitor financial risks and provide mitigation strategies.
o Maintain accurate financial risk assessments and ensure insurance policies are up to date.
5. Team Collaboration:
o Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial alignment with business operations.
o Provide training and guidance to junior staff in accounting practices and procedures.

Key Qualifications:
• Chartered Accountant certification is mandatory (ACCA, ICA Ghana, or other recognized qualifications).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and audit.
• Strong knowledge of Ghanaian tax laws and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
