JOB DESCRIPTION


Key Activities:

  • Develop and execute short- and long-term strategies for the CEHA brand portfolio and introduce new categories through sustainable local sourcing.
  • Manage overall gross margin profitability and ensure achievement of budgeted topline for all locally sourced CEHA categories.
  • Coordinate order planning for retail-focused proprietary in-house brands.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels by reducing aged and slow-moving stock while ensuring availability of fast-moving items.
  • Analyze sales trends and customer preferences to create showroom-specific planograms and effective merchandising strategies.
  • Create pricing strategies and promotional campaigns that drive sales and profitability.
  • Negotiate with vendor partners on contracts, rebates, marketing support, product returns, and rental payments for marketing materials.
  • Work closely with the retail, warehouse, and showroom teams to ensure timely product placement, effective display execution, and category performance tracking.
  • Identify product trends, analyze data, and make recommendations to the retail team to seize new opportunities.
  • Train store employees on product knowledge, merchandising standards, and customer engagement techniques.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop in-store and external campaigns that increase category visibility and sales.
  • Analyze weekly and monthly sales data and competitor activity, providing actionable insights to improve category performance.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Achievement of gross margin and revenue targets for CEHA categories.
  • Efficiency in local sourcing operations and new category launches.
  • Reduction in aged and slow-moving inventory.
  • Effectiveness of planograms and merchandising strategies across showrooms.
  • Vendor compliance, contract negotiation success, and marketing support secured.
  • Improvement in store team product knowledge and customer service scores.
  • Weekly reporting accuracy and timeliness (every Monday).
  • Competitive pricing intelligence and response strategy.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4years’ experience in category management, merchandising, or retail sourcing, preferably in the CEHA industry.
  • Proven ability to negotiate with vendors and manage supplier relationships.
  • Experience with inventory planning and reducing stock obsolescence.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication, training, and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
  • Proficient in microsoft excel, powerpoint and inventory management systems.
  • Results-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
