Key Responsibilities
Program Development & Implementation
- Design and implement capacity-building programs to enhance the skills and competencies of targeted beneficiaries.
- Develop training materials, workshops, and mentorship initiatives tailored to project needs.
- Ensure programs align with organizational goals, donor requirements, and best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination
- Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, private sector partners, and community leaders to assess capacity-building needs.
- Build strong relationships with trainers, facilitators, and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality training sessions.
- Act as a liaison between organizations, funders, and beneficiaries to ensure effective program execution.
Monitoring, Evaluation, & Reporting
- Develop indicators and frameworks to assess the impact of capacity-building initiatives.
- Conduct pre- and post-training assessments to measure program effectiveness.
- Prepare reports, case studies, and recommendations for program improvement.
Resource Management & Budgeting
- Oversee the allocation of resources for training and development initiatives.
- Manage project budgets to ensure cost-effective and sustainable implementation.
- Identify funding opportunities and contribute to proposal writing for grants and sponsorships.
Knowledge Management & Continuous Improvement
- Research and integrate best practices in adult learning, leadership development, and organizational capacity-building.
- Maintain a database of training materials, lessons learned, and success stories for knowledge-sharing.
- Adapt programs based on feedback and emerging industry trends.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in International Development, Education, Social Sciences, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in capacity building, training, or project management.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and leadership development skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation techniques for capacity-building initiatives.
- Proficiency in project management tools and reporting software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments.
