Key Responsibilities

Program Development & Implementation

  • Design and implement capacity-building programs to enhance the skills and competencies of targeted beneficiaries.
  • Develop training materials, workshops, and mentorship initiatives tailored to project needs.
  • Ensure programs align with organizational goals, donor requirements, and best practices.

Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination

  • Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, private sector partners, and community leaders to assess capacity-building needs.
  • Build strong relationships with trainers, facilitators, and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality training sessions.
  • Act as a liaison between organizations, funders, and beneficiaries to ensure effective program execution.

Monitoring, Evaluation, & Reporting

  • Develop indicators and frameworks to assess the impact of capacity-building initiatives.
  • Conduct pre- and post-training assessments to measure program effectiveness.
  • Prepare reports, case studies, and recommendations for program improvement.

Resource Management & Budgeting

  • Oversee the allocation of resources for training and development initiatives.
  • Manage project budgets to ensure cost-effective and sustainable implementation.
  • Identify funding opportunities and contribute to proposal writing for grants and sponsorships.

Knowledge Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Research and integrate best practices in adult learning, leadership development, and organizational capacity-building.
  • Maintain a database of training materials, lessons learned, and success stories for knowledge-sharing.
  • Adapt programs based on feedback and emerging industry trends.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in International Development, Education, Social Sciences, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in capacity building, training, or project management.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and leadership development skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation techniques for capacity-building initiatives.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and reporting software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments.
