Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain solid relationships with customers, vendors, distributors, and sales and marketing teams to foster business growth.
  • Business Opportunity Identification: Leverage in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities and maximize market share.
  • Sales & Marketing Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of sales and marketing strategies, along with supplier and vendor operations, and recommend improvements for enhanced efficiency.
  • Proposal Documentation: Prepare and manage all necessary documentation for requests for proposals (RFPs) and other business development initiatives.
  • Market Research & Innovation: Research emerging market trends and recommend new company offerings or modifications to satisfy customer demands and stay competitive.
  • Strategic Partnership Management: Develop and manage strategic partnerships to expand the business, enhance market penetration, and increase revenue.
  • Sales Forecasting & Planning: Create detailed development plans and accurately forecast sales targets and growth projections to guide business development.
  • Lead Generation & Market Share Growth: Strengthen internal and external relationships to increase lead generation and expand market share.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and nurture cross-functional teams to support sustainable, long-term growth across the organization.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to shape the company’s long-term objectives and develop actionable plans to meet these goals.
  • Opportunity Presentation: Present business and marketing opportunities to company executives, ensuring alignment with overall organizational strategies.
  • Partner Engagement: Develop initiatives to reach end-users through partners and collaborate with the sales team to create tools and collateral to support these initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, with a proven track record of identifying and capitalizing on profitable business opportunities.

Skills:

  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation, sales, and marketing skills.
  • Analytical skills to assess market trends, sales performance, and vendor relationships.
  • Proficient in forecasting, sales target planning, and strategic partnership management.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to interact with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions for business growth.
