Duties
Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and engage with potential clients,
including corporate entities, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and public sector organizations. Build a robust sales pipeline to drive consistent revenue growth.
Sales Pitch and Presentations: Develop and deliver compelling sales pitches
and presentations tailored to the needs of prospective clients. Services as solutions to client pain points, including recruitment, HR consulting and staffing services.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management: Secure new clients through effective communication, contract negotiation, and long-term relationship building.
Ensure high client retention by providing excellent service and understanding client needs.
Revenue Generation: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets by successfully closing deals and maintaining a focus on both short- and long-term revenue growth.
Market Analysis: Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify new business opportunities. Develop insights and strategies to keep ahead of industry changes and competition.
Collaborate with the CEO to develop and refine business development strategy, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Assist in the formulation of short-term and long-term sales goals.
Identify and prioritize key market segments for business expansion, ensuring that services are tailored to specific industries and client types.
Develop and nurture partnerships with corporate clients, industry stakeholders, and external collaborators to expand business ecosystem.
Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars (virtually or in person) to expand network and gain industry insights. Use networking opportunities to generate business leads.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, deals, and communication through CRM system. Ensure timely follow-ups and communication with prospects and existing clients.
Work with the CEO to develop revenue forecasts and contribute to the company’s financial planning. Assist in budgeting and ensure that sales and marketing activities are aligned with revenue targets.
Generate regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, client feedback, and other key metrics. Present these reports to the CEO and discuss potential areas of improvement.
As the company expands, assist in recruiting and training new team
Skills
Bachelor`s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in business development , preferably in a service-oriented company.
Demonstrated ability to drive revenue through lead generation and client acquisition
Proven experience in negotiating contracts and building long term client relationships .
Strong understanding of market research and strategic planning
Familiarity with the Ghanaian labor market and business landscape
