Key Responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct research on products, industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies.
  • Analyze market data to develop insights and strategies for capturing new business opportunities
  • Identify opportunities and threats within the market landscape.

 Competitive Intelligence:

  • Monitor competitors’ activities, including product launches and pricing strategies
  • Evaluate competitors’ strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis).
  • Assess market share and competitive positioning relative to key competitors

Strategic Planning:

  • Assist in the development of strategic plans and long-term objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Department to define strategic priorities and initiatives.
  • Identify strategic opportunities for growth, expansion, and diversification.

Prospecting & Partnership Management:

  • Identify and target potential partners through various channels, including online research, networking events, and industry associations.
  • Understand partners' business needs, objectives, and challenges to effectively tailor our products/services to their requirements.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Communication:

  • Work closely with internal teams, especially the product team, to align business strategies and achieve collective goals.
  • Communicate market insights and partner feedback to relevant teams for continuous improvement.

Business Pitch and Proposal Creation:

  • Develop compelling and persuasive business pitches and proposals.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development efforts.


Key Competencies 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Finance / Economics, or a related field. 
  • At Least 2 years of experience in Strategy consulting, Business Development analysis or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in market research and competitive intelligence.
  • Understanding of the local digital financial services and fintech space
  • Problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Power BI) is an added advantage
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting targets
