Key Responsibilities
Research & Data Collection
- Assist in designing and implementing research studies, surveys, and interviews.
- Conduct literature reviews and summarize key findings from various sources.
- Collect and compile data from primary and secondary sources in multiple languages.
Translation & Language Support
- Translate research materials, reports, and interviews to ensure accuracy.
- Serve as an interpreter for research teams during stakeholder engagements.
- Ensure cultural sensitivity and context accuracy in translations.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Organize and analyze qualitative and quantitative research data.
- Prepare research reports, presentations, and summaries for internal and external use.
- Assist in writing and proofreading research documents in multiple languages.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Communicate with participants, partners, and communities in their preferred language.
- Support fieldwork by conducting interviews and focus group discussions in multiple languages.
- Build relationships with diverse stakeholders to enhance research effectiveness.
Administrative & Logistical Support
- Assist with scheduling meetings, coordinating research activities, and managing documentation.
- Maintain research databases and ensure proper filing of documents.
- Provide support in organizing conferences, workshops, and training sessions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Linguistics, Research, International Relations, or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least two languages (written and spoken).
- Experience in research, data collection, or translation services is preferred.
