Mission

To assist the HR Manager in planning, directing and coordinating human resource management activities of the organisation to maximize the strategic use of human resources and maintain functions such as employee compensation, recruitment, company policies and regulatory compliance. To provide administrative, operational and technical support in the Human Resources department in the areas of compliance, communication, labour relations, recruitment, on-boarding, benefits, payroll training and workforce management.

Profile

Key Duties and Responsibilities 


• Standing in for the HR Manager in his/her absence.

• General day-to-day administrative support for the overall human resources department.

 • Maintaining accurate up-to-date employee databases and HR Information systems.

 • Assist in developing & maintaining and implementing Company policies and procedures.

 • Assist in recruitment and selection activities.

 • Must be updated with prevailing labour legislations.

 • Ensuring monthly headcount is done in a timely and effective way.

 • Ensuring relevant disciplinary documentations are done efficiently.

 • Ensuring efficient minutes taking at required meetings.

 • Ensuring employee of the month nominations and selections in a timely manner.

• Scheduling and coordinating job interviews.

• Managing employee benefit programmes.

 • Producing and distributing HR documents

 • Maintaining employee training records and coordinating training sessions and seminars.

 • Coordinating Industrial relations activities.

 • Implementing of HR policies and procedures.

 • And any other related roles and responsibilities not explicitly stated here, that may be delegated by Management.

Payroll

 • Supervise clocking machine uptime and export attendance reports for payroll importation.

 • Supervise payroll related filings.

• Must possess the ability to generate effective and pragmatic solutions to emerging challenging situations.

• Must have knowledge of payroll processing and tax calculations.

• Must be well versed in the use of Microsoft Office software. 


Educational/Professional/Technical Qualifications/Experience


• 1st Degree or a Masters' degree in Administration with an HRM Option

• Professional certification in HRM (preferably CHIRMP)

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in active HR management role(s).
