JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for software applications and resolve user issues.
- Monitor application performance and ensure system stability.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
- Document issues, resolutions, and create technical guides for users.
- Train users on new features and updates of the software.
- Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to enhance user experience.
- Implement software updates and patches as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and security standards.
- Work closely with Development teams to align technical deliverables with business goals.
Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A Second Degree and/or Completion of Relevant Professional Certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years’ proven experience in application support or a similar role.
Key Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge
The incumbent must have proficiency knowledge in the following areas:
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and ITIL processes is a plus.
- Familiarity with database management and SQL queries.
- Familiarity with product management and end-to-end project lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks for ensuring application reliability and performance.
