Responsibilities:
- Software development/testing/integration for reliable autonomous mobile robots.
- Collaborating with top-level robotics engineers to build a common stack scalable to many different robots and applications.
- Improve our development workflow.
- Evaluation of cutting-edge technologies and deployment to production.
- Candidates are expected to complete the internship tenure
- Candidates are expected to work full time during the tenure of the internship
- Candidates are expected to work from our Chennai office
- Candidates might need to work night shift based on needs
Requirements:
- Undergoing B.S. or M.S in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Robotics, or a similar field of study
- Experience in software development in the form of university courses or equivalent
- Experience in C++ and Python in the form of university courses or equivalent
- Robot Navigation
- Motion Planning
- Move Base/Move Base Flex
- Nav2
- Experience in ROS, Test driven development, and CI/CD practices
- Participant in robotic competitions, e.g. RoboCup, DARPA Grand Challenge, and/or contributions to open-source projects
