JOB DESCRIPTION


Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls to Ireland office Switchboard
  • Deal with incoming/outgoing post
  • Receive Visitors
  • Retrieval of data from a bespoke database (underwriting systems)
  • Filing documentation into ImageRight (paperless filing system)
  • Producing reports and other documentation
  • Assist with Health & Safety compliance within the office
  • Organisation of office maintenance and service contracts
  • Monitoring of the general department e-mail box and distribution of incoming e-mails as appropriate
  • General Office Administration
  • Other reasonable duties as instructed by the Surety Administration Manager

Performance Objectives:

  • Able to demonstrate that e-mails/queries in the general inbox are being answered in a timely manner
  • Take ownership of maintaining the upkeep and replenishing of office supplies
  • Have a good understanding of processes and procedures within the office and suggest improvements
  • Able to navigate Underwriting systems with minimal supervision


Skills and Experience Specification:

Essential:

  • Good command of English and numeracy
  • Good keyboard skills, high level of accuracy
  • Good level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to use own initiative
