JOB DESCRIPTIONS


Key duties & Responsibilities:

  • Working out charging on files from sales and purchase orders including customer charges and agency charges.
  • Raising invoices within a specific timescale for any vat/duties and customs clearance charges where no payments terms or very short payment terms.
  • Providing good customer service to customers regarding any queries and POD’s.
  • Liaising with agents
  • Chasing purchase invoice queries and keep an updated track on their progress
  • Purchase invoice passing
  • Maintain effective administration


Requirements

  • Background within a freight forwarding setting would be advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs such as Word & Excel
  • Ability to learn new systems easily
  • Follow the companies SOP’s for compliance
  • High level of customer service
  • Ability to work with others as part of a team
  • Highly numerate
  • Good organisational skills to manage workload
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • High attention to detail
