JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Requirements
· High School Diploma or GED.
· Prior recreation/activities experience in a nursing home preferred.
· An ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
· Excellent Communication Skills- communicate with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
Responsibilities:
· Engage in activities with residents, resident families and/or visitors
· Assist in planning recreational activities based on the needs and interests of residents
· Document recreation activities per organizational policy
· Ensure residents receive the highest quality of care through recreational based activities
