Responsibilities
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including managing invoicing and payment processing.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and financial records to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Process statutory payments such as VAT, SSNIT, and withholding taxes.
- Calculate pricing for various product formulations, issue customer invoices, and prepare weekly sales summaries to generate revenue data.
- Prepare weekly cash position reports, cumulative sales summaries, and a schedule of outstanding debtors.
- Assist the Finance Team with various accounting tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications
- ACCA/CA Part I or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as ACCPAC or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- High level of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Knowledge of quality management, occupational health & safety, and environmental ISO standards.
