A reputable company is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join its finance team. As a key member of its accounting department, you will play a vital role in maintaining the company's financial health and success.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Oversee all accounting transactions
* Prepare budget forecasts
* Ensure timely publication of financial statements
* Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
* Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
* Ensure prompt bank payments
* Calculate taxes and prepare tax returns
* Manage balance sheets and profit / loss statements
* Report on the company's financial health and liquidity
* Audit financial transactions and related documents
* Maintain confidentiality of financial data and perform database backups as needed
* Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
* Three (3) years of accounting experience
* Factory accountant
* Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, etc.)
* Manufacturing operations accountant
* Manufacturing cost accountant
