 OVERVIEW 

Our Account Manager role is an extremely fundamental position in the everyday management of our client accounts at Social Ghana. You’ll have the responsibility of working as the lead point of contact to our clients as well as a liaison from the client to the team. Additionally, you’ll be exposed to different industries and have the opportunity to work with many clients and personalities. You’ll work very closely with other team members to meet clients’ needs. Our ideal candidate will understand the importance of maintaining a professional relationship with clients and ensuring that all team members work well to meet their needs. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

● Managing the client accounts whilst developing and maintaining good long-term relationships with current and potential clients

 ● Liaising between clients and internal team members to ensure timely and successful delivery of proposed solutions according to clients’ needs 

● Resolving issues to maintain and strengthen clients’ trust and confidence 

● Reporting to the Account Director and/or Senior Account Manager with regards to client accounts* 

● Working closely with the Creative Team to ensure timely delivery of content, creatives, campaigns and any other design related work 

● Working closely with Creative Director to ensure timely delivery of strategies, budgeting and any other administrative tasks in relation to clients’ needs 

● Project and production management for all clients’ deliverables 

● Liaising with vendors for production in relation to clients’ needs 

● Attending meetings with potential and existing clients and noting next steps after said meetings 

● Preparing and presenting reports to clients 

● Maintaining an updated knowledge of the Company’s products and services in order to upsell and engage with potential and existing clients 


QUALIFICATION

 ● An undergraduate degree 

● Exceptional reading, writing and speaking communication skills 

● Excellent time management and organizational skills 

● The ability to work under pressure

 ● The ability to work independently whilst still being able to contribute to the team 

● The ability to work professionally in a high energy, fast paced and dynamic environment 

● Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint (or the MAC equivalent) 

● Willingness to learn about new softwares and how to use them for work 

● Willingness to speak up and contribute ideas confidently 

● Willingness to take on new challenges and accept rejection with a positive attitude 

● Outstanding problem solving skills and people skills 

● Previous experience as an Agency Account Manager is a plus
