Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Implementation
- Design and manage climate-related projects, including mitigation and adaptation strategies.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets to achieve sustainability goals.
- Coordinate activities with government agencies, NGOs, and private sector partners.
Research & Policy Compliance
- Conduct research on climate change impacts, carbon reduction strategies, and renewable energy solutions.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local and international environmental policies.
- Contribute to policy development and climate action frameworks.
Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy
- Collaborate with community groups, environmental organizations, and governmental bodies.
- Raise awareness about climate change initiatives through workshops, campaigns, and events.
- Advocate for policies that promote sustainability and environmental protection.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
- Track project progress and assess the effectiveness of climate initiatives.
- Prepare reports, case studies, and presentations on climate change projects.
- Recommend improvements based on data analysis and field research.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelorโs or Masterโs degree in Environmental Science, Climate Studies, Sustainability, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in climate change projects, environmental policy, or sustainability initiatives.
- Strong understanding of climate science, carbon emissions reduction, and sustainable development.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, GIS tools, and climate data analysis software (preferred).
