JOB DESCRIPTION
What You’ll Be Doing
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performing, secure payment APIs and applications (web/mobile) with a focus on scalability.
• Lead architectural decisions and implement DevOps best practices (CI/CD, IaC, containerization) to ensure reliability in high-volume transaction environments.
• Integrate third-party payment gateways, banking APIs, and digital wallet systems with strict adherence to security compliance (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS).
• Champion IT security best practices, including penetration testing, audit frameworks, and secure API design.
• Mentor junior developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, QA, DevOps), and drive code quality through automated testing and debugging.
• Optimize frontend and backend performance, leveraging cloud infrastructure and modern frameworks.
• Translate complex fintech requirements into intuitive user experiences with robust backend logic.
Experience:
• 5+ years in full-stack development, with 2+ years in fintech or high-growth tech
environments.
• Proven track record in building payment systems, transaction flows, or digital financial products.
Technical Expertise:
• Frontend: Next.js, React.js, React Native (mobile), Tailwind CSS, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+).
Backend: Node.js, Express.js, RESTful APIs, database integration (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL).
DevOps & Cloud: AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform/CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines.
Security: Secure coding practices, IT audit frameworks, penetration testing, compliance standards.
Tools: Git/GitLab/GitHub, automated testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress), webhooks.
