JOB DESCRIPTION



Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and regularly review HR policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure they align with both company values and current labour legislation.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define staffing needs and job profiles.
  • Lead the recruitment process from job advertising to interviewing, selection and conducting onboarding to ensure the company attracts and retains top talent.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns, grievances and disciplinary issues.
  • Provide advice and mediation support to resolve conflicts while maintaining fairness, professionalism and compliance with company policies and labour laws.
  • Coordinate and manage the performance appraisal process, ensuring clarity of expectations and providing constructive feedback.
  • Coach line managers on goal setting, performance appraisals and staff development strategies.
  • Support goal setting, performance feedback, and employee development plans.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate relevant learning initiatives to enhance employee capabilities, motivation and career growth.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Liase with the finance and payroll team to ensure accurate and timely salary payments and benefits processing.
  • Review market trends to support competitive compensation structures that attract and retain top talent while maintaining internal equity.
  • Ensure full compliance with Ghanaian labour laws and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Generate HR reports to support workforce planning, budgeting, and strategic decision-making
  • Provide HR insights and data that can be used to make strategic decisions and planning.


Requirements

  • Must have at least a Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • Must have at least five (5) years of experience preferably in the same industry.
  • Must possess strong knowledge of Ghanaian labour laws and HR best practices
  • Possess excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Must possess strong people management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Possess a strategic mindset and conflict-resolution skills.
